Azusa Pacific University hosts a question-and-answer session with Karen Kingsbury, author of Like Dandelion Dust.

WHAT:

Kingsbury’s book, Like Dandelion Dust, has been adapted into a film. On Sat., Oct. 9, following the 1 p.m. matinee of the film at the Regency Foothill Cinema in Azusa, Kingsbury, along with the film's producer Bobby Downes, will meet with APU theater and writing students, as well as faculty, staff, alumni, and guests, to talk about the book and film.

Like Dandelion Dust, winner of the 2010 Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award, is a compelling drama about a young boy who lives with his adoptive parents on the coast of Florida. It's an idyllic life, until they learn his birth parents want Joey back. The film stars Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino and Golden Globe nominee Barry Pepper.
