Vishal Mangalwadi and the Center for Research in Science

WHAT:

Vishal Mangalwadi delivers his lecture, “Science in a Culture Skeptical of Truth,” as part of APU’s Center for Research in Science’s series, “The Practice and Perceptions of Science.”

Mangalwadi is an international lecturer, social reformer, cultural and political columnist, and author of 13 books. Born and raised in India, he studied philosophy at universities, in Hindu ashrams, and at L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland.

The Center for Research in Science (CRIS) exists to serve a community of students, scholars, and laypersons by promoting research that encompasses the scope of scientific studies and addresses the inseparable relationship between science and culture, its role in classical liberal arts education, and the ancient dialogue between faith and reason.
