WHAT:
In recognition of Veterans Day, APU and Citrus College cohost the sixth annual Saluting Our Veterans event. The community is invited to join the two schools as they pay tribute to the men and women who have honorably served in our nation’s military.
David Keys and Carla McGraw, Citrus College alumni and U.S. military veterans, are this year’s guest speakers. The day also features a military vehicles display and a patriotic music program with performances by Gladstone High School’s marching band and the American Veterans (AMVETS) Honor Guard. Honorees include veterans from the cities of Azusa and Glendora, Azusa Pacific University, and Citrus College. Vietnam veteran and APU communication studies professor Ray McCormick, Ph.D., receives special recognition.
