I often stumble across an interesting story or random fact about the university that I want to share. Or I just want to comment on things going on at the university or in the world of higher education. Do I do that through a press release? No. Tip sheet? Maybe. But often those tools aren't the best way to share information. (Though contrary to some arguments in the public/media relations world, I don't think the press release is dead yet).
Enter the new PR blog for Azusa Pacific. I'll highlight key things happening at the university, share news about what folks on campus are doing, maybe even interview a faculty member on a current trend. Some days I may comment on conversations taking place about the state of higher education.
