AZUSA, Calif. – Azusa Pacific alumnus Kyle Brooks was selected for this year's Alpha Chi $2,400 graduate study Robert W. Sledge and H. Y. Benedict Fellowship. Brooks, an Agoura Hills, Calif. resident, graduated in May with a degree in Philosophy and minors in Greek, Psychology, and Religion. He plans to attend Calvin Theological Seminary for his Masters in Divinity.
The Benedict Fellowship is awarded by the Alpha Chi National Honor Society. Ten $2,400 fellowships are awarded each year to support students' graduate studies.
The fellowship funds the first year of graduate study a master's, doctorate, or professional degree program at any recognized institution. For eligibility, a nominee must plan to complete his or her undergraduate degree in the academic year in which application is made and must enroll full-time in a graduate or professional program in the fall semester of the award year.
