AZUSA, Calif. – Azusa Pacific Universtity Theater presents the last show of the 2009-10 season, Crazy For You, opening April 8.

Crazy For You is the 1992 Tony Award-winning musical that uses songs written by the Gershwin brothers to create a romantic comedy full of singing, dancing, and laughter. The story begins with a rich young fellow, Bobby Child, messing up at an audition. After his failed attempt at a performance career, he takes a job from his family's bank to foreclose a theater in Nevada. Through the journey in Nevada, Bobby falls in love with the young Polly Baker. The rest of the story follows his pursuit of love through impersonations, highly energetic dance numbers, and cross country travel.

"This show is excellent fun, for the performers as well as for the audience. People of all ages will love seeing this on stage, and I encourage our community to come see a night of good theater at a great price," said Bart McHenry, chair of APU's Department of Theater, Film, and Television.
