Azusa Pacific University recently received recognition for efforts toward diversity:
CCCU Racial Harmony Award
In January, Azusa Pacific University received the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities’ (CCCU) Robert and Susan Andringa Award for Advancing Racial Harmony for 2011. This award was established in 2000 to celebrate the achievements of CCCU campuses in making progress in the areas of diversity, racial harmony, and reconciliation.
“This award acknowledges the collective work of APU’s faculty and staff on diversity over the years, marking our progress and exemplifying the importance of this core institutional value,” said APU President Jon R. Wallace, DBA. “We are most certainly not where we once were; but we are also not where God untimely calls us to be.”
