Azusa Pacific University launches a new B.A. in Psychology program at the High Desert and Murrieta regional campuses beginning fall 2016. This program is specifically designed for transfer students with 30 or more units. The B.A. in Psychology is a 43 unit course, with a completion time of 18-24 months.

Students in this program will gain a strong understanding of the system aspects of human behavior and the fieldwork of psychology. Graduates will be equipped for careers in social services, human resources, administration, and public relations, and for graduate study in applied aspects of psychology, such as counseling or clinical psychology, school psychology, education, social work, law, and management. Students can secure practicums at many locations throughout Southern California including hospitals, community resources centers, and local school districts. These internship opportunities ensure that students graduate with connections in their field, evidence of their abilities, and experience for their resumes.
