Student Art Exhibit Examines the Beauty of Imperfection

October 14, 2005

AZUSA, Calif. –

Senior graphic design major and Diamond Bar, Calif. resident Jacob Blaze is set to unveil his latest art show, A Solo Exhibition. Featuring 15 mixed media pieces, the exhibit includes acrylic, paint, glass, and wood mediums. "My inspiration for this show came from many artists of the 1960s, as well as some contemporary artists," said Blaze. "I also drew from the idea that there is beauty in imperfection, and I believe that this show captures that concept."

A Solo Exhibition will be on display from Oct. 24-Nov. 4, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. in APU's Red Zone Gallery on West Campus. An artist's reception takes place Tues., Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m.
