Student Art Exhibit: A Collection of Occurrences
November 7, 2005
AZUSA, Calif. –
On Nov. 7, from 6-8 p.m., Riverside, Calif. resident and Azusa Pacific University graphic design student Brit Keiko Brodeur hosts an art exhibit, A Collection of Occurrences from the Life of Claire Neville. Brodeur’s art show contains six large digital photographic prints, the use of models, and set design in staged situations along with photography.
“I dabbled in photography in high school, but never learned that much until I took courses in photography at APU,” said Brodeur. Personal experiences along with the work of Cindy Sherman, Nikki S. Lee, and Malachi Ward inspired her upcoming show. She also draws inspiration from observations of the people around her, current music, and new ideas she reads in novels or discusses with others.
Brodeur’s show runs from Nov. 7-18, in the Main Gallery, located on West Campus at 701 E. Foothill Blvd. A reception takes place on Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m.
