Broadway Comes to APU: Beauty and the Beast

Based on the Broadway version of Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated feature, Beauty and the Beast tells the enchanting tale of a beauty who teaches a cursed beast to forgive and love.

Sept. 27-29, Oct. 4-6, 11-13 at 7:30 p.m.;
Sept. 29, Oct. 6, and 13 at 2 p.m.
WHY:
APU Theater Arts grants students opportunities to gain theater and acting experience while promoting self-expression through the arts.
FACTS:
- Tickets are $12 for adults. Discount tickets are available for alumni, college students, senior citizens, military, children, and groups for $10. APU faculty, staff, and students are $8. For additional ticket information, call (626) 815-5035.
- This is the 14th year of operation for the APU Theater Arts Program. Nine major productions are schedule each year. Other smaller productions, directed by students, are presented as well.
- The Theater Arts major began three years ago with just nine students. Those students are now seniors performing in their final productions at APU. The major now has more than 70 students.
