FACTS:

  • Over the past century, Christians in all theological traditions have had a tumultuous relationship with science. From courtroom battles to public debates, science and religion are often seen as enemies. On Nov. 15, five leading voices will move beyond merely defending the faith and engage in a constructive dialogue with science.
  • The symposium's topics include "Science and Religion Take Practice: Engaging Science as Culture," "Saints, Sinners, and Scientists: Why We All Need the Virtues," "Evangelical Theology and Science: What Difference does Being Pentecostal or Charismatic Make?" "A Relational View of Divine Action for Science and Theology," and "Delightful Terror of Interdisciplinary Dialogue."
