APU Hosts Veterans' Day Luncheon

WHAT:
APU's Office of Alumni Relations hosts the 5th annual Veterans' Day luncheon with guest speaker, Ray McCormick, Ph.D., interim chair of the Department of Communication Studies, who served in Vietnam with the United States Army; and APU alumnus Seth Mercurio, a reserve with the United States Marine Corps.

WHY:
This event honors the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. APU's annual luncheon recognizes an important tradition to honor and salute our veterans who have fought and served to protect our independence and liberty.

FACTS:

  • Lunch is complimentary for veterans, all others are $10. Following the luncheon a bus will be provided to view the Vietnam Wall at Azusa City Hall.
