More Than 500 to Graduate at APU’s Winter Commencement

AZUSA, Calif. –
AZUSA, Calif.― More than 500 students will graduate from Azusa Pacific University on Dec. 17, 2005, at the university’s winter commencement ceremonies. The ceremonies features 164 bachelor’s, 240 master’s, and 97 degree completion recipients. Sixteen individuals will receive doctoral degrees.
This year’s keynote speaker, Carolyn A. Koons, has been active as administrator, author, and national speaker. As the executive director of the Institute of Outreach Ministries, she has coordinated more than 250,000 high school, college students and single adults on mission’s trips throughout the world.
Winter commencement takes place on Sat., Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. for the Undergraduate and Adult and Professional Studies Ceremony, and 3 p.m. for the Graduate Ceremony. The ceremonies take place in the Richard and Vivian Felix Event Center on APU’s West Campus at 701 E. Foothill Blvd., in Azusa
