APU Hosts December Concerts

Thursday, December 1
Gospel Choir
Kimasi L. Browne, C.Phil., will serve as the director. This event takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Munson Chapel, located at 901 E. Alosta Ave., Azusa, and is free of charge.

Friday and Sunday, December 2 and 4
Celebrate Christmas
The holiday tradition continues with the annual School of Music Celebrate Christmas concert at Lake Avenue Church. Presenting this year's concert is the University Choir and Orchestra with special appearances by the APU Jazz Ensemble, Bel Canto Women’s Choir, Men’s Chorale, and Lake Avenue organist Julian Revie, performing on the 125-rank Casavant organ. The event takes place at Friday, December 2, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 4, at 3 p.m. at Lake Avenue Church, 393 N. Lake Ave., in Pasadena. Tickets are available for a variety of prices, ranging from $2-$20. All seats are “general admission” style seating within each price range. Flute Choir, Flute Fantasy
Teri Christian will serve as the conductor. The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Munson Chapel on APU’s East Campus and is free of charge.
