An evening filled with songs, laughter and meaning. This one-woman show, featuring opera singer and APU faculty member Ruby Hinds, chronicles the life and accomplishments of legendary Contralto, Marian Anderson. Marian Anderson was the woman who broke the color barrier at The Metropolitan Opera. It’s a moving performance you won’t want to miss.
Tickets: $10/$5/FREE for Students . Call (800) 219-9920 for tickets. Advance ticket sales will be available until 12 noon on Friday, February 6. After this, tickets may be purchased at the door at the will-call table. Will-call sales and ticket pickup will begin at 6:45pm on Saturday, February 7.
