Phil Shackleton has been a commercial arranger working in the Los Angeles area for more than two decades. He has arranged for the Orange County Master Chorale; live stage shows and musical theater including the Tinseltown Awards Show, the Citrus Singers, and the Candlelight Pavilion; many live and taped radio and television broadcasts; educational video and film; the Jobim Retrospective in New York City; Gospel recordings and performances including Andrae Crouch, Doug Oldham, and the Continental Singers; professional, industrial, and trade show presentations and videos; Las Vegas stage acts; and cruise line stage shows. He has several choral/orchestral arrangements and other choral works in publication, six children’s musicals, and many piano transcriptions and arrangements.

Shackleton has been a music technology consultant for major jazz musicians, film composers, recording engineers, and publishing houses. He specializes in real-time MIDI processing, synthesizer programming, integrated sequencing/digital audio/notation systems, and synchronization. In addition to his music technology projects, Shackleton has also engineered and produced many album and video recording projects.
