Rebecca Genzink is a graduate of Azusa Pacific with both a B.A. in Vocal Performance and Music Education and an M.M. in Vocal Performance. Her undergraduate vocal studies were with Wayne Eikenberry, and her master teacher in graduate school was Brenda Reinebach.

Genzink has been an adjunct faculty member since 2001. She is a private voice lesson instructor and is also the teacher of the Beginning Voice classes. She enjoys teaching students with varying levels of experience and advancement, from the earliest beginners to graduating voice majors.

Genzink has most recently been featured as the soprano faculty soloist with Oratorio Choir, performing in G.F. Handel’s Messiah, J.S. Bach’s Mass in F Major, and W.A. Mozart’s Solemn Vespers.

In addition to her work at APU, Genzink also runs a voice and piano studio out of her home in San Dimas, teaching school-age children and adults. She is the vocal coach for and frequent soloist with the 100-voice Celebration Choir at Pomona First Baptist Church, where she is also available to fill accompanying needs. Additionally, she has performed three times in “A Grand Event,” a magnificent concert with six grand pianos performing music ranging from hymn arrangements to Gershwin and Rachmaninoff.
