APU music majors are uniquely prepared to use musical skill to elevate, transform, and enlighten those around them.
Gain In-depth Learning Experiences
APU’s proximity to Hollywood and the Los Angeles music industry provides music majors with ample internship and performance opportunities. Internships and local gigging ensure that music majors graduate with contacts in their chosen field, solid evidence of their skills, and substantial experience on their résumés.
All music majors are required to own an Apple MacBook Pro with music software programs. These Laptop Requirements are part of the integration of technology into the music teaching/learning process, and ensure that students learn more effectively while becoming competent with practical music technology.
