Annie P. Odell is currently an assistant professor and the director for the family nurse practitioner program for the graduate nursing program at Azusa Pacific University (APU). She earned her PhD in Nursing at the University of San Diego. Odell's research interest is in the cultural perspective of health behaviors. She is currently licensed and certified as a California Registered Nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC), and she has a private practice in Pasadena with her husband specializing in internal medicine and women's health. Odell has also received awards such as the Sigma Theta Tau Award for "Teaching Excellence," and the "Presidential Award for Teaching Excellence" from West Haven University. With English as her native language and basic competencve in Spanish, Odell is well prepared to serve the Azusa community.
