Cheryl Boyd, MSN, RN, APRN-CNS, is a lecturer and clinical instructor in the graduate and undergraduate programs in the School of Nursing at Azusa Pacific University. She is a clinical expert in critical care, medical-surgical, palliative care, and adult health nursing. With more than 16 years of experience in nursing care for the adult patient across the lifespan in the acute care setting, she utilizes evidence-based practice guidelines, strong interpersonal skills, and a well-developed knowledge base in order to model excellent nursing care. Her strong clinical background facilitates the integration of knowledge for students between the theoretical and practical settings, and she continues to enjoy mentoring the next generation of nursing professionals.
