Profile
Patricia Perry is eager to teach and connect with her students. Her commitment to the future of nursing is manifested through the teaching of beginning nurses. Perry strives to dynamically engage the student within the learning process and her enthusiasm is contagious. She is active in professional nursing organizations such as the Southern California chapter of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing (ASPMN). Perry has made outstanding contributions to the practice of pain management nursing and the care of patients suffering with pain.

In 2007, Perry was honored for her leadership and service by the Southern California chapter of ASPMN and the local chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) when she received the National Distinguished Service Award. She has served as the past president of the ASPMN chapter and has promoted collaboration within ASPMN and ONS for programming and education. Perry is also the editor of the chapter newsletter and has increased chapter recruitment and education with innovative ideas.
