Overview
The combined Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with School Nurse Services Credential (SNCSC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) prepares registered nurses who have completed a bachelor’s degree to be effective practitioners of school health, and the Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate prepares them to provide primary care for people of all ages in a variety of other settings.
In addition to WASC and CCNE accreditation, the SNSC and FNP specialty is approved by the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission.
Students enrolling in the SNSC and FNP specialty should familiarize themselves with the MSN prerequisites and course requirements.
