APU's S.C.A.N.
Program :
S.C.A.N. students enter an intensive three-year sequence of pre- and post-licensure
study that enables them to become registered nurses and also leads to the
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a clinical specialty.

APU's EENAP
Program :
EENAP students complete pre-licensure theory and clinical coursework leading
to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and may continue on with courses
that lead to advanced practice in nursing, specifically the Master of Science
in Nursing (MSN) degree.

| What both nursing programs
have to offer: |
- EENAP and S.C.A.N. programs meet Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
requirements for licensure.
- Graduates are eligible for the California
RN License and Public Health Nursing Certificate, certification as
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and/or a Nurse Practitioner in California.
- Clinical experiences include care of diverse cultural/ethnic groups,
the poor, the underserved, and the homeless.
- Students receive personalized
attention in a supportive Christian environment.
- Financial aid is
available through scholarships and loans.
- Clinical faculty are experienced
as clinical nurse specialists or nurse practitioners in a variety
of settings.
- Night classes work around students’ work and family
schedules.
