Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2+2 Upper-Division Transfer Program)

Program Code

Azusa Pacific University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2+2 Upper-Division Transfer Program) is designed for transfer students interested in pursing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Offered only at APU’s High Desert Regional Campus in Victorville, the 2+2 program enables students with 60 units (about two years) of transferable nursing prerequisite courses to complete the nursing major in six consecutive semesters (two years) at APU, including summers. Students graduate equipped to provide effective, compassionate health care.

Students at the High Desert Regional Campus benefit from the same quality nursing education offered at the Azusa campus, and receive personalized attention in a supportive, Christian environment. Taught by experienced faculty-practitioners, the transfer BSN centers on the foundation of nursing care for individuals, families, and communities across the lifespan and in a variety of environments. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical opportunities, and benefit from state-of-the-art technology, including simulators and virtual patients. Graduates leave with the knowledge and skills to positively impact their patients' lives.

The 2+2 BSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Please note: International students on an F-1 or J-1 visa are not currently eligible to apply for this program.
