Online Programs

Fully Online

Our programs are entirely online, so you can earn your degree without ever setting foot on campus. Flexible class times let you participate when it's convenient for you. Courses are asynchronous, meaning you can log in at any time, from anywhere—as long as you follow the weekly schedule. Courses include weekly discussion topics, required readings, and assignments listed in the syllabus.

Time Commitment

While you do not need to be online during a specific timeframe, you should plan to be online 6–10 hours per week per unit to successfully complete assignments and participate in discussions.

All online programs include a two-week online orientation prior to the start of the first class. This offers you a chance to become familiar with the online format as you engage with helpful tutorials.

Graduate online programs follow APU's Graduate Academic Calendar with most courses offered in nine-week terms.

Interactive Technology

Azusa Pacific is committed to making earning your online learning experience the best it can be. Online courses offered through Sakai allow you to get the most out of your education by creating an interactive online learning community.

Some of the course features include:

• Chat: Talk with other students and your professor in chatrooms to enhance learning with conversations in real time.
• Assignments: Submit assignments online and receive feedback from your instructor.
• Forums: Participate in threaded discussions by responding to topics or questions from your professor. You can also read and respond to comments posted by fellow students.
