Meet Our Students

“There is a family feel to the Orange County Regional Center campus. Students are known by the staff and always greeted by name and with a warm smile. Throughout my program, I have felt supported, respected, and cared for. The center is like a second home where students can find refuge for study and gathering with peers. I also appreciated having professors with real-world expertise sharing their knowledge in creative ways and bringing faith into the classroom.”

“Flexible class schedules, a variety of programs, and extremely helpful faculty and staff make it very easy to attend APU’s Orange County Regional Center. Being the mother of an autistic son is one reason I’m motivated to advance my career as an instructional classroom aide and become an educational specialist, so I can continue my work with young students who suffer from emotional disturbances. My son had wonderful teachers throughout his education, and APU is helping me achieve my dream of becoming one, too.”
