Kellie Smith

Kellie began working in the Office of World Missions in September 2009. Born and raised in Southern California, Kellie grew up in a diverse community where God instilled in her His love for all cultures and people. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with minors in Leadership Studies and History, and a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University. Growing up, Kellie participated in many local and inter-city ministries, meeting both the practical and spiritual needs of those she interacted with. During her college years Kellie served as a team member and leader for the Office of World Missions Focus International teams, traveling to places such as New York, Washington D.C., Kabale, Uganda, and more.
Kellie is passionate about mobilizing students to be part of the global church and to understand what living a missional lifestyle really means. She believes that every student was created with unique gifts and talents to bring God glory on earth by completing the work He has given them to do (John 17:4).
When out of the office, Kellie enjoys anything outdoors, playing sports, trying to capture God’s beautiful creation in photographs, volunteering at Agua de Vida Orphanage in Morelos, Mexico, traveling and exploring different cultures and places, and spending time with her amazing family and friends.
