Description
The primary responsibility for this faculty member will be as program director for the Masters in College Counseling and Student Development along with teaching and advising students in the program. Position subject to final funding.

Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have a strong educational and experiential background in the study and practice of college student affairs. Specifically, he or she should:
- possess a doctorate in college student development, higher education, or a closely related field;
- have a strong record of successful experience as a student affairs practitioner serving a diverse student population.
- understand and be able to articulate the role of the co-curriculum in student learning.
Workload
In addition to teaching in the graduate program in College Student Affairs, it is expected that this faculty member will assume a leadership role as Program Director in marketing the program to a national audience, supervising field-based experiences of graduate students and creating professional development programs for the students in the program. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in multiple research methodologies and be able to articulate a research agenda. The specific teaching areas will be determined by the faculty member’s education, experience, interests, and expertise but may include one or more of these areas: counseling and college students, college student development theory, program evaluation, quantitative or qualitative data analysis, law and policy in higher education, student learning in the co-curriculum or higher education administration.
