Craig W. Bartholio, Ed.D., has a wealth of K–12 special education teaching, administrative, and higher education experience. Prior to arriving at APU, Bartholio worked as a program specialist in the special education department at Chino Valley USD. In addition, he worked as an adjunct professor in the special education master’s program at National University and Point Loma Nazarene University. His research interests include the use of cognitive task analysis to gain expert knowledge for developing training protocols, theology of disability studies, student motivation and learning, teachers’ attitudes toward inclusion, effective practices to develop novice teachers, and autism.
