Elizabeth Eagleton Fang, M.A., trains ESL/EFL teachers and students, after a passion for diverse cultures and a desire to be a bridge builder drew her into the TESOL field in 2000. After earning her M.A. in TESOL, she went to Yuyan Wenhua University as a Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) student, and later became an EFL teacher at China’s Renmin University, where she met her husband. She teaches Sociolinguistics and Language Teaching, Second-language Pedagogy I, and Intercultural Communication and Language Teaching in APU’s on-campus, field-based, and online M.A. in TESOL programs.
