Renee Pozza received her credential as a family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University (APU), and is not only a Professor at APU, but a former student. Having experience from the student's perspective, Pozza is able to approach her students with understanding of their position in APU's School of Nursing. Pozza received a PhD in Physiological Nursing from the University of California’s School of Nursing in San Francisco. Pozza has participated in over a dozen Clinical Research Studies. Her passion lies in the treatment and effects of treatment for patients with hepatitis C. Her desire to help others is a great attribute to the students of APU's School of Nursing.
