Ganas, M. (2008, February). East of eating: Crops and cash in John Steinbeck’s California. Paper presented at the Southwest Popular Culture/American Culture Conference. Albuquerque, NM.
Dr. Ganas chaired and moderated two panels in the California Culture Area, one titled Culture Makers and the other California in Literature and the Arts. She also was the judge for the Diana Cox Award for best paper on Images of Women in Popular Culture.
