Awards
Christopher Noble, Ph.D.
The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) selected Dr. Christopher Noble to participate in a summer seminar entitled "Professing Literature: Christian Engagement with Today's Literary Studies." The seminar was held July 6-July 10, 2009 at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI.
The co-leaders of the seminar were Roger Lundin (Wheaton College) and Susan Van Zanten (Seattle Pacific University). In preparation, all seminar participants read three books and a coursepack. The central objective of the seminar was to analyze current developments in the discipline of literature, including post-secularism, globalization, aesthetics, curriculum development, and teaching practices.
