Azusa Pacific University's Los Angeles Term (L.A. Term) is a residential study and service semester in the heart of Los Angeles. It aims to equip undergraduate students to live out their faith and values in postmodern urban culture. All of the L.A. Term courses are either part of the General Education program at APU or are upper division electives students can complete for graduation.

The 2042 Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential, Track B, offered as part of APU's combined master's/credential program, prepares teachers for positions at the elementary and middle school levels (K-8). This track is specifically designed for the candidate who is teaching full-time in an appropriate setting in a public or private K-12 school, verified and approved by the program director prior to course registration. The program is CTC and NCATE accredited.
