Application Information
To participate in the program, the student must complete an application
form* to be signed by the faculty advisor and department chair. Upon submission,
the student then may be asked to meet with the director of Undergraduate Research
for a brief interview to discuss the project; academic, postgraduate, and professional
goals; and additional undergraduate research opportunities such as internships,
essay competitions, and other scholarly conferences.
Faculty who would like to notify the director of Undergraduate Research of forthcoming funding requests may submit the attached Intent to Apply Form.*
The deadlines for the 2004-05 year are as follows:
| July 30, 2004 | First round applications due for summer or fall conferences/events |
| October 1, 2004 | Second round applications due for fall/winter conferences/events |
| Febuary 25, 2005 | Third round applications due for spring/summer conferences |
