Fire Update - Wed., Sept. 2
September 2, 2009

Improved weather conditions have assisted firefighters in the fight against the Station Fire, now at 22 percent containment, and other wildfires burning in Southern California. To date, the Station Fire has burned about 140,000 acres and destroyed 62 structures.

In today's advisory, the South Coast Air Quality Management District continues to report poor air quality for the San Gabriel Valley. Please see yesterday's blog for instructions for the APU community.
