Fire Update - Thurs., Sept. 3 September 3, 2009 As of Thursday morning the U.S. Forest Service reported that the Station Fire has burned nearly 145,000 acres and is 38 percent contained. More than 4,700 firefighters have been fighting the blaze. A smoke advisory remains in effect for the San Gabriel Valley. Instructions for the APU community may be found here.
