UPDATE: Segerstrom Science Center Hydrochloric Acid Spill September 11, 2009 L.A. County Fire and HazMat teams were able to quickly neutralize the minimal hydrochloric acid spill in the Segerstrom Science Center, and will now begin the disposal and clean-up process. There are no injuries, and the situation is under control. The building will remain closed throughout the clean-up process. We are grateful to all who responded so quickly to ensure the safety of those studying and working in the building. |
