APU Tests Emergency Notification System
During emergency situations on or near campus, the university will use a mass notification system to provide critical notification updates and instructions to students, faculty, and staff via text message, email, and voice mail. APU has contracted with Everbridge to provide this communication service.
On Wednesday, April 10, 2013, APU will run a campus-wide test of the system. You will receive a test message via text, email, and/or voice mail, depending on how you set up your alert preferences in the Everbridge system.
If you have not reviewed and updated your contact information through Everbridge, we encourage you to do that immediately, and keep it up to date. Twice a year, the campus community will be reminded to update their information to ensure messages are sent to active phones and email addresses.
