Rachel is serving her fourth year of leadership as APU’s director of an intensive business and ministry oriented European study abroad program known as
L’APEU. Her greatest joy is watching students become empowered, confident, and more energetic about investing in others through business and service. Rachel is also an assistant professor at Azusa Pacific University (USA) and doctorate of business administration (DBA) candidate from the University of Manchester (Manchester, UK). Rachel has been nominated for her research interest in the value of ethics and social responsibility, specifically as it relates to luxury fashion brands. Rachel teaches global marketing, consumer behavior, and principles of marketing. Rachel and her husband are both undergraduate APU alumni from 2003. The adventurous couple tied the knot in Bora Bora, French Polynesia in 2010. Rachel received her Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing Management and a certificate in Marketing Law from a top-tier Grande École in Nice, France. Collectively, Rachel has over 15 years of experience ranging from customer service to business development. She has a specialized knowledge in marketing and strategy. Her industry expertise includes healthcare, information technology, cosmetics, and hospitality.
