Overview
APU’s international business major prepares students for global enterprise. The degree provides a solid business foundation, covering accounting principles, business law, finance, economics, statistics, and marketing. Advanced coursework introduces strategic management and organizational behavior. These then serve as a framework for in-depth study of the unique challenges presented by international business endeavors.
Students compare economic models, study the intricacies of international trade and finance, and examine the industrial, political, and demographic forces that influence international marketing efforts. Interested students may also choose to incorporate language learning into their curriculum. Classroom learning is supplemented by study-abroad internship opportunities, which allow for practical application of classroom knowledge. International business majors leave APU ready to guide a business through the global marketplace.
