Business Internship Program

The Business Internship Program augments business majors’ classroom experience. It provides an opportunity to integrate principles and concepts discovered in the classroom with the reality of the business world. Interns test theories, apply concepts, gain firsthand knowledge of the purpose and practice of business procedures, build interpersonal relationships, set objectives, and measure performance. Intern accountability is maintained by regular feedback from field supervisors, academic consent for assignments, and seminar meetings. Students interested in this program should visit with their advisor and then enroll in BUSI 350 Business Internship.
