Jared Isham
Founder, Stage Ham Films
APU alumnus Jared Isham founded his own production company, Stage Ham Films, specializing in the production of independent films, and creating quality commercials and corporate videos. In the summer of 2003, Isham traveled to Romania with APU's Men's Chorale and used his interest, passion, and knowledge of media to document the trip in a short film. Erik Ramirez
Student, Dalton Elementary/Future Police Officer
Erik Ramirez is a 10-year-old student at Dalton Elementary in Azusa. A recent C.H.A.M.P. graduate, Erik loves French vanilla and bubblegum ice cream from Nana's. His favorite food to eat is macaroni and cheese. Erik is an A-student, whose favorite school subjects include math and reading.
Pamela M. Christian, Ph.D.
Special Assistant for University Diversity
Prior to her role at Azusa Pacific, Christian served as director of the McNair Scholars Program at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) for more than seven years. In 2002, she coordinated and facilitated a Diversity Training Seminar at CSUSB. She has also participated in the National Multicultural Institute and was part of the campus diversity training team. Christian received a B.A. in History at Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J.; an M.A. in Educational Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino; and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, Calif. She co-authored an article in Educational Horizons, titled, "And Still They Rise: Practical Advice for Increasing African-American Enrollments in Higher Education." She was also one of many scholars to co-author Diversity Works: The Emerging Picture of How Students Benefit.
