Prayer Guide

A. Come before God in praise.

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…”
Hallow God’s name and His nature of:
Righteousness, Healing, Sanctification, Provision, Peace, Security, Presence, Shepherd

B. Invite the Kingdom of God.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done…”
Declare God’s will and Kingdom be established with Jesus alone as Lord of:
Your life, Your family (spouse, children, extended family), Your work (co-workers, supervisor, subordinates), Your church (pastors and people, for health and Christ-likeness), Your nation

C. Claim in faith the provision for living.

“Give us today our daily bread…”
In the will of God, ask Him to provide for your needs, the needs of your family, and
the needs of your church by using:
Your abilities (wise stewardship of time, energy, money), Other people’s graciousness and obedience to God, Supernatural intervention

D. Seek forgiveness which God freely gives.

“Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors…”
With a humble and broken heart before God:
Ask God to forgive you, Forgive others and release them, Seek a forgiving spirit toward those who will sin against you

E. Declare victory and protection over temptation and the enemy (Satan).

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one…”
With the authority of Jesus and understanding Satan’s power:
Put on the armor of God – Truth, Faith, Righteousness, Salvation, Peace, Word
Claim protection in God who is your – Refuge, Fortress, Strength, Habitation, Shield, God

F. Acknowledge the reason for all your prayers.

“For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.”
With a heart that is released from burdens and inhibitions, rejoice:
In the sure victory of God in and through you, In the dominion of the kingdom of God, In the glory which is due to God alone

G. AMEN.
