Strengths of Competence

In order to identify what the Noel Academy refers to as “strengths of competence,” we use a tool known as the Clifton StrengthsFinder©, named for one of the founders of the strengths movement, Donald Clifton.

In order to identify your top five themes of talent, you will need to purchase a strengths code from the Noel Strengths Academy. Each of the resources below also comes with a strengths code that allows you to go online and take the StrengthsFinder assessment:

  • StrengthsFinder 2.0 (Gallup Press, 2007) by Tom Rath
  • Strengths Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams, and Why People Follow (Gallup Press, 2009) by Tom Rath and Barry Conchie
