Meet the Offices

The Center for Student Action is composed of offices and programs committed to educating and mobilizing students toward serving within the local and global community. These include:

Center for Global Learning & Engagement
(Study Abroad)

The Center for Global Learning & Engagement (study abroad) offers more than 40 national and international study opportunities to enhance your APU education. Opportunities include South Africa, High Sierra, Oxford, and Los Angeles.

HIS Years

HIS Years exists as a sending program providing a “bank” of students each year ready and willing to serve overseas with Christ-based community development/mission organizations that work with unreached/least reached people groups after graduation.

International Students and Scholars

International Students and Scholars invites eager scholars from around the globe to discover the life-changing experience of going to college. Through activities, events, and programs, ISS engages international students in the campus community.

Mexico Outreach

Mexico Outreach was founded on the principle that young people of all ages can be effective in sharing the Gospel. The office mobilizes thousands of high school and college students to serve and minister throughout Mexico annually.

Local and National Mobilization

Local and National Mobilization exists to educate and mobilize the APU undergraduate community toward an active response in service that advances the work of God in the local community and throughout the United States.

International Mobilization

International Mobilization provides opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to cross borders, cultures, and languages to participate in God’s global service through international short-term opportunities and educational programming.

Rancho El Refugio

Rancho El Refugio, a 17-acre property in Ensenada, Mexico, facilitates year-round ministry opportunities engaging the local community, hosting conferences and camps, and on-going ministry alongside marginalized children and families.
