IOM Activities
Mexico Outreach (Thanksgiving): This 5-day, 4-night camp over the Thanksgiving break weekend gives students a hands-on missions experience in Ensenada, Mexico. Students camp at APU’s 17-acre “Rancho El Refugio” at night, and then participate in evangelism programs in the city during the day. This camp is lead and operated entirely by students. (Fifteen ministry credits are given for participation in this outreach.)

Easter Break Camp: APU students will be involved in many different types of ministry ranging from VBS programs to sports activities in churches, schools, prisons, and communities throughout the Mexicali Valley. More than 6,000 young people from all over North America will also be participating. Students may also receive course credit by registering for “Introduction to Christian Missions-03”. (Thirty ministry credits are given for participation in this outreach.)
