Welcome
Welcome Home!
We understand that your time studying abroad was full of many changes, adjustments, learning, and adventures. We also understand that the process of “coming home” is not as easy as just returning to what was familiar to you before you lived and studied elsewhere. You have encountered new places with new adventures, considered new perspectives and ideas, and made new relationships. In addition, life as you knew it may have changed at home just as you have changed during your time abroad.
We hope the following information might assist you in working through your re-entry process and beginning to build a bridge between the country where you studied abroad and the country you call “home.” Please remember that we are here to assist you in this process, whether it be providing you more materials, or just to sit and chat!
We would also appreciate you filling out APU’s Return Assessment Survey (MS Word). This survey is meant to be a platform for you to communicate to APU what was beneficial about your study abroad term along with how APU can improve the study abroad experience for all upcoming students. We are eager to hear your thoughts. You can fill out this form electronically and then email your completed form to: studyabroad@apu.edu.
We look forward to hearing from you!
