French Language and Culture, Aix, France
Gordon College offers a semester in the heart of Southern France in the historic city of Aix-en-Provence. Although the program is primarily language focused, through immersion style learning students will find faith-based discussions a continued priority. In particular, students are challenged to think about the contemporary Christian church in a mainly post-Christian Europe. Students normally receive 16–18 credits, depending on the courses completed. Students can take additional classes in their areas of academic interest, according to their level of proficiency in French, including politics, economics, international relations, business, history, and Biblical studies.
